Well, what did you want me to talk about?

One of the first pictures taken with my new 85mm f/1.8 af-s G lens... but I have nothing to say about it.

So, nobody read my last post.  Not nobody, but only 6 people on the day I posted it.  And one was my mom.  And one was my sister.  To the other 4, thank you.  To my mom and sister, thank you as well.  Especially Angela, my sister.  If you would have seen us growing up you never would have expected my sister to be a fan of me doing anything other than going away and leavig her alone.  It appears she has forgetten a little bit of what a pest I can be.  Sure, we've both matured, but only a tiny bit for me, and I appreciate her being able to forget that and support what I do.  So much so that she read a review of a prime lens!  I can only imagine how little of a shit my sister gives about lens performance.  Based on the reception of my last post, it seems nobody gives a shit about an 85mm f/1.8 af-D lens, and why would they?

I hope anybody who reads one of my posts realizes that the title can sometimes be a bit misleading so it may be worth checking it out anyway.  The reivew was done as a silly way to tell the story of dropping my lens, but yeah, it was also a review.  Knowing this, I wanted to give the reader a reason to glance over it, so I included a photo of a topless woman.  Yep, you didn't know that because other than 4 people who aren't my mom and sister you havn't read it yet.  Now here you are looking at the screen and seeing "recent blog posts" on the right hand side, knowing nudity awaits at the click of a mouse.  Go ahead, check it out, I'll wait......

Welcome back.  Don't give me that!  It was a picture of a topless girl.  Just because you can't see anything does not take away from the fact that she was topless when I took the photo.  O.K., maybe saying "nudity awaits at the click of a mouse" was a tad misleading, but it wasn't a lie... In the internet nudity is always a mouse click away!

I guess that is something I like to do, to mislead you.  Not out of dishonesty, but to give you enough misdirection that I can surprise you.  If I were predictable, I imagine it would make for dull reading.  Speaking of dull reading, now that I've committed to writing a blog twice a week for a bit I'm risking not having anything interesting to write about.  Let's be interactive on this one, comment below or on Facebook or Twitter or Flickr or Instagram and let me know if there is anything you would like my take on.  Do you have any specific questions about photography?  Any questions about business?  About Travel?  About dating?  About nudity?  About anything?  About reading the last stack of questions in Ben Steins voice a la Ferris Beulers Day Off?  Let me know.

Just a warning, if you don't help, I'll just write more lens reviews (which may include nudity) or about nudity (which may include lens reviews).
